It is also about the main boys fathers and there pathetic obsession to out do eachother and there use of there sons bar mitzahs to do it. (view trailer)

Leo says: Definantly not without its funny moments. In many ways this film was simulare to cheaper by the dozen 2 though quite a bit more inteligent and funny. The competition between the two fathers was anoing and farfetched but the relationship formed between the child and grandfather was exelent and the overall message of the film was interesting and well presented.

Waist Deep

Plot outline: In the urban action thriller Waist Deep, director Vondie Curtis Hall (Redemption) takes audiences on a ride through contemporary Los Angeles - where a sexy 21st-century Bonnie and Clyde hit the streets. "I'll always come back for you," single father O2 (Tyrese Gibson of Four Brothers) tells his young son Junior (screen newcomer H. Hunter Hall). This parental promise is put to the test when O2 is suddenly plunged into a do-or-die situation; trying to go straight for Junior's sake, this recently paroled ex-con is forced to go back outside the law after his son is kidnapped in a carjacking.

Leo says: I was very reluctant to order this film, but it made over $20mill so I figured that at least a few copies would be a good idea and I am glad I got it. If you were to look at ratings on Imdb or other sites you would see that most people gave this either 1/10 or 10/10 I say 7/10 is fair. This is one of the better "gangsta" films out there comparable to Boyz in the hood though they definently took a few cinematography tricks from the britts which give it a unique style which was pretty cool. So if you lake "gangsta" films or just some good old school action you will most likely enjoy Waist Deep.

Thank You for Smoking

Plot outline: Tobacco industry lobbyist Nick Naylor has a seemingly impossible task: promoting cigarette smoking in a time when the health hazards of the activity have become too plain to ignore. Nick, however, revels in his job, using argument and twisted logic to place, as often as not, his clients in the positions of either altruistic do-gooders or victims. Nick's son Joey needs to understand and respect his dad's philosophy, and Nick works hard to respond to that need without compromising his lack of values. When a beautiful news reporter betrays Nick's sexually-achieved trust, his world seems in danger of collapsing. But there's always one more coffin nail in Nick's pack.

Leo says: I was very impress I did not expect a smart film here just figured it would be a simple spoof, but it was, as I said above smart also it was a bit dark and I love dark comedy. It was written almost in a serious way but because of the subject matter it was quite funny.

X-Men: The Last Stand

Leo says: I am not going to bother with a plot line description since you have probably seen the first two and this is just a fun special effects filled continuation of those. I have enjoyed this series and recommend watching all of them, I have to say that I did like the first ones more with there primary focus being on wolverine though that is not necessary in this one since they are now doing a wolverine movie. You can expect lots of action with fantastic CGI there is no shortage of entertainment here.
